Within the P.N. de las Hoces del Ebro y Rudrón Nature Reserve

Even with the intense heat of these summer days, we enjoyed with records of bird species most representative of the P.N. de las Hoces del Ebro y Rudrón Nature Reserve. The small rapids formed in parts of the river Ebro, we had the opportunity to observe some of the most typical bird of the river as Dipper, Common Sandpiper and Grey Wagtail families, while the riverside vegetation, Wrens, Warblers, Flycatchers .... Again the presence of birds of prey is very significant Griffon Vultures, Egyptian Vultures, Short-toed Eagles, Booted Eagles, Commom Buzzards, Black Kites ..., including spectacular views of the canyon of the Ebro a good numbers of House Martins, Crag Martins, Common Swifts and few Alpine Swift, beginning to form flocks before migration.
Among the more wooded areas Zamansas Valley was easy to distinguish the songs of Woodpeckers, Pipits, Thrushes…. In the meadows, Red-backed Shrikes, Starlings, Finches...
A total of 43 species with good some observations.
